Dakota has been involved with horses from the time she could sit up. She had a very successful junior career. She competed at National Pony Finals in Kentucky and was a top equitation competitor. She additionally achieved numerous successes in the hunter arena, enjoyed many victories in the jumper divisions competing to the Grand Prix level.

She has worked with many of the best professionals in the industry including, but not limited to George Morris, Bernie Traurig, Archie Cox, Bert Mutch, Joe Fargis, and Anne Kursinski. As a junior, she had opportunities for many catch rides and worked as a training assistant for several competition and sale barns.

As a young professional she has been the winner of a National Hunter Derby, won many hunter division championships, and achieved many wins in the jumper arena. Dakota is an enthusiastic instructor. She is a skilled, and gifted horsewoman. Blue Water Farms is honored to partner with Dakota.
