Academy
This is a program that teaches the American Hunter/Jumper Forward Riding System utilizing a comprehensive curriculum-based method. It provides a strong and solid foundation for students at all levels.
Individual lessons when lesson horses are available $75.00
Lessons are either private for 45 minutes or 1-hour group. Riders will be grouped together with other riders of similar ability and level. This encourages camaraderie, friendship, and support, and generally leads to a higher quality of learning and riding. Groups do not exceed four riders.
Students will be paired with seasoned, successful horses. Grooming, horse equipment is included. Riders starting the introductory program will need to have boots with heels, long pants, and helmet.
Attire
For Lessons
Riding breeches or riding tights.
Fitted long or short sleeved shirt tucked in with belt.
Helmet (ATSM approved), hairnet.
Boots, black field boots preferred.
BWF staff will assist with choices.
Blue Water Farms logo attire available.
For Shows and Clinics
Tan breeches
Black or other approved belt.
For shows white long-sleeved show shirt.
Navy or black coat.
For clinics solid color long or short sleeve shirt with a collar.
